Unity Prototype
1. PROBLEM
-
Having to take a physical experience and try and recreate it in a digital space as best as we could.
-
Time constraints due to the need to get user validation after our pivot.
-
Working in a different programming language as the physical prototype.
-
Couldn’t find free speech recognition software for Unity.
-
Chrome proxy isn't compatible for Mac OS.
2. SOLUTION
-
Used our very detailed room layout to create a replica of our experience at MoM in Unity.
-
Completely stopped work on the physical prototype, and focused solely on the Unity prototype.
-
Luckily, this quarter I was also taking a class in Unity so I was able to get refreshed before building the prototype.
-
Couldn’t find free assets, however was able to purchase speech recognition software for cheap.
-
Was able to get the chrome proxy working on my windows using Bootstrap.
3. PROCESS
